A few days ago, Monica emailed you about our Mid-Year Budget Review — the time of year when we look at how we've been spending our budget, and how we're performing compared to the projections set at the beginning of the fiscal year.

And today is the day! At midnight tonight, we're locking in our budget for the upcoming months. Then, it's time to make final decisions about which campaigns to prioritize, and by how much.

Unfortunately, we identified a gap between what we set out to raise and what we've actually raised at this point: we're just about $21,174 short.

Since we first announced this shortfall a few days ago, many of you have chipped in to help us close that gap (thank you so much!), and I have never been more certain that together, we can accomplish amazing things.

But we're not there yet. If we are to beat the fossil fuel industry once and for all, and avoid the most disastrous effects of the climate crisis, it is crucial that we have the resources we need to win.

Thank you for everything you do. Your support is what makes our movement so powerful. If you're able, please consider making a donation so we can set ambitious goals for our climate campaigns in the months ahead.

Here are just some of the campaigns we're hoping to scale up heavily after completing our Mid-Year Budget Review:

* Stopping the financial sector from funding the climate crisis.
* Supporting and standing in solidarity with frontline groups who experience the worst of the climate crisis.
* Training young climate activists to lead our movement.
* Mobilizing thousands of people to put pressure on world leaders ahead of global climate negotiations.

It's clear as day: if we continue to ramp up these campaigns, we will be able to prevent the most disastrous effects of the climate crisis. That's why I'm asking:
