Four years under Donald Trump left many Americans fatigued, but not beaten down.
We showed up at the polls, mailed in ballots in record numbers, and definitively chose Joe Biden to become our President. We flipped "unflippable" districts to win a Democratic majority in Congress. We set our country on a new course to build back better.
Now is our chance to build a society where all of us have access to education, health care, jobs, and opportunity -- but we have to work for it.
Just this month, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell announced, "100% of my focus is on stopping this new administration." He will do everything he can to block President Biden's American Families Plan, the American Jobs Plan, and all our efforts to move forward.
We must deliver on the promises we made last year by working every day to win these critical fights in Congress, but also by electing even more Democrats who will push back against Senator McConnell's obstruction.
