Let's be candid for a moment: the past 15 months have been tough.

After she lost her son to gun violence in 2012, McBath became an outspoken advocate for gun safety legislation. Her life experience fueled her work, ultimately resulting in her flipping Newt Gingrich's former Georgia district in 2018, and later winning her reelection race by more than nine points in 2020.
