Hi there — Rebecca again, with Team Heinrich. We just had our last budget call before tomorrow’s end-of-month deadline, and I have some not-great-for-now news:

We’re not on track to meet our May fundraising goal.

Our monthly goals aren’t arbitrary. We set our budgets based on what we need to help our campaign thrive — from opportunities for Martin to connect with New Mexicans on the issues they care about, to investments in online ads to reach voters, to funds to support local candidates and campaigns like Melanie Stansbury’s crucial race to keep New Mexico’s First Congressional District blue.

In short, meeting this goal is really important.

We won’t have to make any big budget cuts if this grassroots team steps up at this crucial moment. So before you log off to enjoy the rest of the long weekend, will you chip in $10 or any amount you can spare right now?
