When I served in the House five years ago, Democrats faced a Republican House Majority.

I watched in disbelief as they voted repeatedly to gut our health care, pass tax cuts for the rich and powerful, and block President Obama’s agenda.

And since my election to the Senate, I’ve watched Mitch McConnell and his Republican colleagues try to tear down President Obama’s legacy and prop up a wannabe tin-pot dictator.
