John, At the Montana Democratic Party, we believe that all Montanans and Americans deserve to be paid a living wage. $8.65 simply won’t cut it. This isn’t a partisan issue -- a recent poll found that a majority of Montana voters are in favor of raising the minimum wage all the way up to $15! Despite the support for raising the minimum wage, Montana Republicans decided to kill a Democratic bill in the state legislature that would gradually raise the minimum wage to $13. They’d rather side with McDonald's executives than Montanans. Let the Montana GOP know this stance is unacceptable and at odds with the will of the people.
