John, I’m personally reaching out today to explain why this end of the month deadline is so important.

When I decided to run for the U.S. Senate, I knew we had to run a different kind of campaign than we’ve typically seen in North Carolina.

This has to be a people-focused campaign that speaks to the hopes and needs of every North Carolinian — particularly those who have been left behind and ignored by Washington.

We’re off to a great start so far. Our campaign is leading in public polling in the Democratic primary, and the outpouring of support from people like you has been amazing.

But being the frontrunner means there’s a big target on our campaign. Republicans know that our campaign has the best chance to flip this seat, and there is no doubt they will try to attack and smear us.

So we have to be ready to fight back, and that’s why I am asking:

Can you make a $3 donation before tomorrow’s deadline to help us keep up our momentum? Now is not a moment we can afford to slow down.
