This isn’t the news I want to be sharing with you on a Sunday morning: According to my team, fewer people than we were hoping for have made donations to our campaign over the past few weeks.

I don't want to alarm you, but that's a serious problem... especially with our razor-thin Senate majority. We already know Wisconsin will be a battleground once again in the next election, and we could even decide control of the Senate.

That’s why I’m reaching out to you today with an important request. I know messages like these can be pesky (heck, the last thing I want to do is ask you for money), but they make a huge difference for our team.

So, if we're going to hold our own against the GOP to protect our Senate majority, we need to catch up on our goals — quickly. And if we're going to do that, it will come from messages like these, because I am never going to beg the wealthy few or corporate special interests to cut me a check.
