Folks, sorry to say but we have some unpleasant news to share:

We’re a bit short ahead of tomorrow’s fundraising deadline as our donations have slowed a bit heading into the summer. We expected this — every fundraiser in the party knows about the dreaded “summer slump."

But with everybody extra excited about spending time outside with family and friends this year (and rightly so!), it means our fundraising numbers are dropping a bit earlier than we expected them to.

We’re not trying to scare you into donating. We’re just telling you the truth. The sky isn’t falling and this isn’t a final notice for our campaign, but we’d like to catch up on hitting this goal before summer actually starts.

Because even in a 50-50 split Senate, Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans are wielding their power. They just leveraged the filibuster to block a bipartisan commission on the January 6th insurrection.

That’s what we’re up against, and we can’t give them an inch. So that’s why we’re asking:
