Tomorrow is the last day of AAPI Heritage Month, and as we reach its end, we celebrate the incredible trailblazers and changemakers of AAPI pro-choice women’s leadership -- and we also recognize the road ahead to realize truly equitable representation.

Despite being the fastest growing demographic in the country, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders account for less than 1% of our elected leaders. We must do better. At its most basic level, what brings us together in this work is creating a more just world -- electing a government and fostering institutions in which we are seen and respected.
