Good news first: After we announced our 4,000 contribution goal our amazing grassroots team stepped up in a BIG way and it looks like we’re on track to hit it.

Now the bad news: There are 12 candidates running against Nina. One of them recently announced they raised over $1 million, and we just found out another is launching TV ads.

It’s going to take a lot of resources to get Nina’s message out there and fight back against the attacks coming our way. Perhaps more than we had originally planned. So we’ve UPPED our end-of-month goal to 5,000 contributions to ensure we have what it takes to win in such a crowded field.

Because not only are we competing with 12 other candidates, we are up against the powerful special interests and Super PACs who will do and spend whatever it takes to maintain the status quo.
