Photo taken by Daxid Briggs for Point Reyes Light. 2016 At the time this photo was taken, I was one of several candidates in a primary race for District 4 Supervisor in Marin County. I wanted a photo that would convey my values to whomever saw it, so I asked David to take one of me hugging this beautiful redwoid tree. Although I did not win in the conventional sense, we all won, because Dennis Rodoni is a wonderful public servant. He cares about the environment, and I am honored to call him a friend.
