A tweet from @Sen_JoeManchin reads: "My statement on the January 6th Commission: There is no excuse for any Republican to vote against this commission since Democrats have agreed to everything they asked for. Mitch McConnell has made this his political position, thinking it will help his 2022 elections. They do not believe the truth will set you free, so they continue to live in fear."

He's right: This Republican obstruction is inexcusable. And Joe Manchin now has the responsibility to voice his support to end the filibuster after Republicans once again demonstrated their true cowardice and disdain for Democracy by refusing to pass the January 6th commission bill!
