Hi friend -- I wanted to make sure you saw Jennifer's message from yesterday.

It's incredibly important that we meet our early fundraising deadlines. Republicans won't hold back in spending against Democrats like Jennifer, and we need the resources to begin engaging voters this summer.

So please, we need grassroots supporters like you to pitch in. We're still $5,103 away from meeting our goal by tomorrow. Every contribution helps!

Friend,

Since this year has started, I've voted to help pass the American Rescue Plan, the Equality Act, DC statehood, and H.R. 1 through the House. In the weeks and months ahead, I'm hopeful about passing the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, a comprehensive infrastructure package, and President Biden's American Families Plan.

But none of these bills would be making it to the floor if Kevin McCarthy were in the Speaker's chair, and Republicans are only 5 seats away from putting him there in 2022.

Last cycle, Democrats fell short in dozens of seats we hoped to win. While we retained the House, we saw what happened when we failed to fully anticipate GOP turnout. We cannot be caught by surprise again this cycle, so I'm working to invest early in my race -- and help Democrats across the country in districts that will decide control of the House.

Our May fundraising goal is critical for getting an early jump on the 2022 cycle. Will you chip in to help us raise $8,000 more by Sunday night?

House Republicans have doubled down on extremism in a craven effort to maintain the support of Donald Trump's base and political operation. They've steadfastly opposed economic and healthcare relief for the American people, they removed their caucus chair for telling the truth about the 2020 election (while refusing to properly hold fringe members like Marjorie Taylor Greene accountable), and they even tried to stop the passage of a fact-finding commission on the January 6 insurrection.

Embracing Trumpism may be the GOP's only strategy for 2022, but it's a strategy that's been shown to boost their turnout. So if we want to see continued progress for all our priorities, and protect our democracy from those who've shown a willingness to suppress votes and overturn the will of the people, we have to pull out all stops to hold the House.

That's why I'm asking for your help -- too much is on the line to take anything for granted. Can you donate before the deadline on Sunday to help us reach our end-of-month goal?
