Hello,

Here’s what I was elected to do: fight to make a real difference for New Mexico’s workers and families.

Here’s what I wasn’t elected to do: watch as policy after policy gets filibustered by Senate Republicans.

But our broken Senate procedures and partisan politics require far too much of the latter.

And that’s a shame, because the Senate should be fully engaged fighting for the solutions that Americans are counting on right now — like ensuring equal pay for women, creating plenty of good-paying, clean-energy jobs, making sure our public lands continue to be enjoyed for generations to come.

Thankfully, in my time as a U.S. Senator I’ve been able to navigate Senate procedure and politics to accomplish a lot. But there’s still so much more we need to do.

I know I’ll be able to stay focused on our shared priorities because of folks like you willing to chip in whatever makes sense for their budget.

So, as our campaign quickly approaches our end-of-month deadline, will you pitch in $10 or whatever you’re able to give? Your donations give our campaign the steady backing it needs so I can focus on what I was elected to do: [link removed]

It means a lot to me that you took the time to read this, and I hope you’ll make a donation to support the important progress we’re fighting for together.

–Martin
