It’s clear -- all eyes will be on Texas during the 2020 election. Just take a look at the headlines about Texas’ role in the next election (and then pitch in to help MJ defeat Senator John Cornyn next November):

FIRST the Dallas Morning News wrote that “the most-watched race in Texas will be the Senate battle.”

THEN NPR confirmed it, saying “Texas emerges as a battleground state!”

AND POLITICO reported “Texas Republicans brace for 2020 drubbing.”

NOW the Houston Chronicle confirms that Senator Cornyn is facing the “toughest re-election battle of his career in 2020.”

The path to a Senate that protects health care, addresses gun violence, takes on climate change, and works for the people runs straight through Texas. But defeating McConnell’s right-hand man, Senator Cornyn, won’t be easy. With a nearly $11 million war chest backing him up, Cornyn is going to do everything he can to stay in office.
