In a moment, I’m going to ask you to make a contribution toward our campaign but first, I hope you will let me explain why this request is so important, especially today.

Fundraising has been slow over the past few months — really slow. Look, I get it. After four years of Donald Trump’s disastrous presidency, folks are tuning out now that we have Democrats in the majority. But the truth is, Donald Trump only lost Wisconsin by 0.6%.

That’s why Mitch McConnell and his rolodex of shady megadonors think they can win here in Wisconsin next year, and retake the Senate along with it — setting the stage to make this race one of the most expensive and competitive battlegrounds in the country.

McConnell only needs one more seat to reclaim the majority and turn the Senate into a legislative graveyard all over again. So, we can’t afford to miss a single fundraising deadline right now.
