About this time last month, I emailed you asking you to chip in to re-elect Arizona Senator Mark Kelly. Frankly, I was overwhelmed by the generosity of so many friends and supporters who stepped up. But a lot has changed since then, namely, that a top Trump donor recently announced he is running to defeat Mark Kelly in 2022.

That's why I'm writing again, with just a couple of days to go until the May fundraising deadline, to ask you to please make your first contribution to support my friend Sen. Mark Kelly as he heads into this must-win election.

Some things haven't changed since last month. For starters, with Democrats holding a razor-thin majority in the Senate, Mark Kelly's race is still an absolute must-win if we're going to hold the Senate. Another thing that hasn't changed is the fact that DC Republicans and dark money groups are already spending big to attack Mark Kelly and flip his Democratic seat red.

I don't need to tell you how bad that would be for our country and the work that the Democratic Senate has on our agenda. That's why we need your help before our critical end-of-month deadline. Mark Kelly is the independent voice Arizona needs, and we need to keep him in the Senate.
