I believe so strongly in the work we are doing to keep Canada moving forward, and especially in a minority Parliament, we can’t take any of our progress for granted.
Friend, it’s been a busy month for our Liberal team and I want to make sure you are up to date.
As our Liberal government keeps doing everything it takes to keep people safe and deliver support for Canadians, I am so grateful to the dedicated Liberals all across Canada that make our progress possible. Check out a few highlights of what our team has been up to:
This month marked a full year of Virtual Weekends of Action, where thousands of dedicated Liberal volunteers have been making millions of calls in over 3,400 communities across the country.
We have nominated over 150 Liberal Candidates to stand with Justin Trudeau in our work together to keep building a better future for all Canadians. Our fast-growing team of candidates are dedicated community leaders who are committed to building on our progress with bold action on health, the economy, the environment, equality, and so much more.
We’re rolling out innovative new digital engagement tools to start even more new conversations with Canadians.
The end of May also marks six weeks since Chrystia Freeland presented Budget 2021, and our Liberal team has been continuing to lay out its important steps to build a better, stronger, and more resilient Canada. Together, we‘re moving forward with our plan for a robust economic recovery that leaves no one behind, investing in jobs and growth for Canadians, stepping up our work to fight climate change, and continuing to do everything it takes to keep Canadians safe, healthy, and supported as we finish the fight against COVID-19.
And so much more...
I believe so strongly in the work we are doing to keep Canada moving forward, and especially in a minority Parliament, we can’t take any of our progress for granted. Just this week it was reported that Erin O’Toole’s Conservatives are stepping up their work to prepare for a “snap election” (The Hill Times, May 24), and as we know, opposition parties have already voted to prompt one 14 times.
There is a lot at stake for Canadians, friend, and your commitment is crucial at this important moment.
We are only a few days away from our end-of-month deadline and we’re counting on the support of dedicated supporters like you to help us reach our $200,000 online fundraising goal. Your support makes our progress possible, friend. I'm hoping that you will consider chipping in toward our ambitious goal.
If you’re able, chip in now to support Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team’s work to keep Canada moving forward.
