We know you’re probably busy getting ready for the holiday weekend, so we wanted to give a quick breakdown as to where things stand ahead of our end-of-month deadline on Monday and why your first contribution in 2021 is so important ahead of important elections in June:

• The special election in New Mexico’s First Congressional District is 3 days away, and WFP is working hard to get out the vote for Melanie Stansbury.
• The Virginia Democratic primary is 10 days away. WFP organizers and volunteers are sending thousands of texts and making thousands of phone calls to Virginia voters supporting Jennifer Carroll Foy’s campaign for governor.
• And in New York, we’re gearing up for a big primary day on June 22 — just 24 days away. From Tahanie Aboushi for Manhattan District Attorney to India Walton for Buffalo Mayor, and hundreds of other progressive champions statewide, we’re fighting for candidates up and down the ballot who are ready to deliver a safe and just future for our communities.

And that’s just scratching the surface. We have a TON of organizing to do to win in 2021 AND 2022, and we rely heavily on grassroots contributions from people like you to make it happen. We're 90% of the way toward our $65,000 end-of-month goal, and reaching that goal will mean we can do all of this and more.
