John, Connecticut Republicans are officially preparing for next year’s Governor’s election.
This week, the former CT House Republican Leader (and Trump delegate) became the first Republican to officially announce that they are considering running for Governor of Connecticut.
Let’s be clear, John: Connecticut has no room for Trump Republicans. Not this year, not next year, not ever — but ensuring that a Democrat continues to lead Connecticut means we need to start preparing NOW for the fight ahead.
Before May ends, will you chip in $20 to help the Connecticut Democratic Party lay the groundwork for Democratic victories in next year’s elections?

Under the leadership of Governor Lamont, Connecticut became the first state in the country to vaccinate more than 70% of adult residents. Together, we are on the verge of ending the pandemic and building back a better Connecticut through transformative investments in our economy and infrastructure.
But in the months since Trump supporters attacked the U.S. Capitol, the Republican Party has proven that they only want to take us backwards.
Today, Senate Republicans blocked attempts to investigate the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol — and this is just after passing new voter suppression laws in states like Georgia and Florida.
We’re working to expand and protect voting rights and mobilize all of the Democratic volunteers and organizers we have in Connecticut to ensure that we continue moving our state forward — not backward.
We can’t allow a Republican who supports Trump’s dangerous agenda to become Governor of Connecticut. If you can, please chip in $20 before May ends to help us continue investing in Democratic victories.
Thank you for investing in Connecticut’s future,
Connecticut Democrats
