In honor of Immigrant Heritage Month, I will be joining actor, producer, and activist Alyssa Milano on Friday, June 4, for a lively conversation on immigration and what the freedom to thrive in America can look like for us all.

Alyssa Milano is an actor, producer, activist, and a strong advocate for immigrants’ rights. Known for her roles in the popular “Insatiable” and “Charmed” series, Alyssa is a trailblazer in her industry, and I’m honored to be joining her next Friday.

For decades, the National Immigration Law Center has been advocating for a country where all of us can pursue our dreams, engage in fulfilling work, and live with joy and dignity. But this moment is different,  Friend.

The COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the essential role of immigrants in our society, and public support for immigrant-inclusive policy reforms is at a historic high. We have an opportunity to create a 21st century immigration system that finally gives everyone the freedom to thrive — regardless of where we were born, how much money we have, or what we look like.
