Storycorps: 'We Belong Together'
POV's producing partner Storycorps ([link removed]) has released a new mini-series of animated stories called 'We Belong Together' with short films about finding meaning and fulfillment through caring for others. All four films are currently available to stream on pov.org.

Lola's Work ([link removed])

Crescenciana “Lola” Tan, originally from the Philippines, came to California to help raise her grandkids. Her daughter Olivia and grandson Kenneth share some of the lessons she imparted and the memories they cherish from Lola’s storied life.

Hand in Hand ([link removed])

After Sissy told his soon-to-be wife Vickie that he was happiest when dressed in skirts and dresses, she supported him. Vickie has stayed by his side through thick and thin. Together they came to StoryCorps to reflect on their long and loving marriage.

Star Bound ([link removed])

At StoryCorps, two people who seriously love outer space came together to talk about their shared passion. Six-year-old Jerry Morrison and his NASA engineer uncle, Joey Jefferson talk about favorite planets, spreading knowledge, and always learning more.

The Little Things ([link removed])

Herman Travis makes weekly deliveries of groceries to his elderly neighbors in a low-income housing complex. He’s joined at StoryCorps with one of those residents and friends, Robert Cochran, to talk about that weekly commitment and how much it matters.
