It's time to elect our chapter's next
Steering Committee! The Steering Committee will serve
as our chapter's leadership for the year and guide our chapter's work.
Candidates will be speaking at our June 5th General
Membership Meeting, so make sure to attend! All members
in good standing will receive a ballot June 5th to cast their vote.
Voting will be available until June 9th. If you'd
like to vote, be sure to join

🌹 UPCOMING EVENTS 🌹
Detroit for All Canvass
Saturday, May 29th at 3PM
This Saturday is our first Canvass for our Detroit DSA endorsed
Detroit for All Slate! We're hitting the doors in
Corktown and talking to voters about our endorsed socialist candidates
and ballot initiative before absentee ballots drop in a couple weeks
for the August primary election.
Be there at 3 to get all the training, campaign lit, and
door-knocking scripts that you'll need to talk to voters.
After
the canvass, stick around for a happy hour in the
neighborhood at the Nancy Whiskey Pub and get to know your
comrades!
Detroit DSA is a 1200+ member funded
organization. We receive no money from outside sources so we can say
things like "Defund the Police" and "Abolish ICE" without losing
funding, and we will always act democratically in the interests of our
members and the working class! If you're able to, we ask that you make monthly
contributions as they more directly benefit our chapter. Thank you for
whatever amount you're able to contribute!
