Running a grassroots campaign like this depends on people pitching in – whether that’s $5, $15, or $50 – whenever they can. Less than half of one percent of people reading any given email donate. But that revenue makes up 40% of all our fundraising.

Small-dollar donors have created a movement that was able to raise $5 million for urgent relief when Texas faced devastating winter storms, raised thousands for our neighbors in Queens who were displaced by two massive fires, and built a tutoring program in New York to help provide support for families who were juggling working from home and remote learning for their kids.
This is a movement for the people by the people. But, in order to keep building, we need to hit every single one of our monthly fundraising goals that we’ve set for this year. And right now, we need to raise 15,000 more contributions in the next three days in order to hit our May targets.
