Dear John,

This weekend is Memorial Day, a day set aside to honor the brave Michigan residents who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. I wanted to share with you the Statement for the Record I made to remember their courage and the courage of all of our military members, veterans, and their families.


For those of you who have served, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. For everyone else, thanks for everything you do to honor them – on Memorial Day and every day.
