We all remember January 6th. We remember Trump supporters climbing up the walls of the Capitol. We remember people running through chambers and offices with Confederate flags. We remember the police officers who died at the hands of these insurrectionists. We remember the assault on our democracy.

In the last five months, The 147 have made it clear that they are not ashamed of their role in the events of January 6th and seem to determined to repeat them. They continue to spout The Big Lie, ousted Liz Cheney for speaking the truth, are defending a credibly accused pedophile, and continue to swear fealty to Trump.

Today, 35 Senators signaled that the post-January 6th way of doing things is here to stay by voting against a commission to investigate the insurrection.
