I was worried about this happening...and it just happened.
Senate Republicans used the filibuster today to block the creation of a Commission to fully investigate the deadly January 6 attack on the Capitol. 54 Senators voted in favor of the investigation — so we can find out exactly what happened, stop it from ever happening again, and hold all those responsible accountable. But the GOP was able to block the majority-approved Commission from passing, because of the filibuster. So what do we do now? END the filibuster.
