Has your life returned fully to normal yet? Mine hasn’t, but it’s getting there. I can’t adequately explain how amazing it feels to be doing in-person shows in LA again. And on super hot lineups. This feels like the old days. And with the cool added benefit of outdoor shows. A real cool new live show called Supernova I've been doing in Hollywood is in the round, which is a way to do standup that I really love and haven’t had a chance to do in 11 years, since the Dane Cook Live arena tour I opened up for him on in 2010. Last night I did Supernova again and got to bring Nikki up, and instead of doing material she told a funny story about the two of us, and then brought me up and we got to riff together. What an absolute joy that was. We’ve been friends a long time. It’s amazing to see her climb to the very top.
But all this in-person stuff doesn’t mean I’m slowing down on my virtual shows. Not in the least. In fact I have a big anniversary coming up this Saturday and I want to celebrate with you!
One of my favorite things I do, “GLEIB OFF THE TOP: Crowd Work & Improvised Madness” at Nowhere Comedy Club on Zoom is turning 1 year old!
