Democrat,

Earlier this week two of the Republicans vying for their party’s nomination to take on Governor Phil Murphy held a debate that essentially boiled down to one question -- who is the Trumpiest? Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli and businessman Hirsh Singh traded barbs all night about who is the bigger right winger, who thinks Donald Trump really won the 2020 election, who would roll back gun safety laws faster, who would attack a woman’s right to choose more savagely and much more. Unfortunately, this sad spectacle was an accurate representation of where the New Jersey Republican Party is today, with a new poll saying that 71% of GOP voters don’t believe that Joe Biden won the 2020 election

There was one winner of the debate -- Governor Murphy, who is leading our state forward while his Republican opponents continue to appeal only to the far right.

With Memorial Day Weekend and the unofficial start of summer upon us, New Jersey is reaching a major milestone today with Governor Murphy officially dropping the state’s indoor mask mandate in most circumstances. As the Governor says, the incredible progress our state has made in vaccinations and in reducing the number of new COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations has made this moment possible.

For up to date information regarding new cases and directives regarding coronavirus, or information on vaccine registration and signup, visit the state’s dedicated COVID-19 Information Hub or follow Governor Murphy’s official pages on social media. You can also reach the state’s Vaccine Call Center at 1-855-568-0545.

Header: President Biden Update

We all know that economic health is impossible without public health, and with more than 50% of the country now vaccinated the Biden administration is starting to see real results on reviving the American economy. Job growth is picking up, with wages also rising as employers compete for workers by offering higher pay and better benefits. It’s all part of President Biden’s economic plan, and it’s working.

Thank you,

Chairman John Currie
