Hi John,
Earlier this month, the Democratic National Committee announced a historic investment in State Parties and the grassroots.
The leaders of our party know that to win at the top of the ballot, we have to recruit and cultivate volunteers and elect Democrats at the local level. But even the increased investment only covers a small portion of our work. Real change comes from the ground up, not the top down.
If we’re really going to do this right and make Maine blue not just for 2022, but 2032 and beyond, we are going to need support from as many grassroots supporters as possible, including folks like you. Would you make a gift of $7 today to help us build on the investment from the DNC and win up and down the ballot in Maine?
What does your investment in the grassroots mean on the ground? It means:
We are pouring everything we’ve got into this. The DNC investment goes a long way, but we can’t just rely on support from the top. If we really want to make Maine Blue for our kids and their kids, it has to be an all-hands-on-deck effort.
Early investment is key to our efforts to boost field organizing, register new voters, train volunteers, and prepare candidates to run winning races up and down the ballot. We hope that we can rely on your support in this important year.
Thank you for all you do,
Drew
