We had big plans to lower healthcare and prescription drug costs once I was elected to Congress and we won the majority in the House. That legislation is being blocked in the Senate.

The sad truth is that, instead, we have had to defend against Republican attacks on the Affordable Care Act and protect coverage for people with pre-existing conditions.

If the GOP had their way, they would flip this seat red again, so they’d have another vote for insurance companies and big pharma, not people. We can’t let that happen.
