I’m about to ask you to chip in $25 or more to help us reach our last monthly fundraising goal before we take on our critical FEC public deadline -- but first, let me tell you why this race will be one of the most expensive in the entire nation.

From the moment she took office, Elaine has been a top target for national Republicans -- they spent over $3 million on dishonest ads attacking her last cycle, and have already started pouring tens of thousands into new smear campaigns before 2022 has even started.

It costs us major time and money to set the record straight -- and on top of that, we also need the funds to build out our grassroots operation to organize all across VA-02.

Our budget needs to be able to stretch to simultaneously cover our team’s offensive and defensive needs, which is why it’s so important that we meet our monthly fundraising goals. The truth is that Elaine’s work in Washington speaks for itself. In just her first term in Congress, she had five bills passed and signed into law (more than any other freshman member) and was ranked the 3rd most effective member of the House!

But the hard reality is that it takes more resources and energy to counter falsehoods than it does to simply debate the facts -- especially when they’ve got millions of dollars behind them.
