John, Carolyn has always fought to make a difference in her community’s life — and she takes those same values to Congress.That’s why over the last 5 months she has:
- Lead the House Oversight Committee towards passing the bipartisan Postal Service Reform Act, which is now headed to the Senate
- Secured billions of dollars in COVID-19 relief for New York's schools, small businesses, and residents
- Introduced legislation to expand protections for working moms like breastfeeding rights and paid family leave
- Greatly expanded access to the COVID-19 vaccine by helping to open new sites
- Reintroduced the Equal Rights Amendment and helped pass it the House
And this barely covers a fraction of the work she’s put in to help promote the American Jobs Plan, the Green New Deal, and Medicare for All.
