May has been another busy month for Pramila — no surprise there. We're going to tell you all about it below and then ask that you chip in toward our end-of-month goal of $55,000 to keep the momentum going.
What Pramila has been up to: More than we could possibly list in one email, but we'll attempt to give you the highlights! Pramila has been tirelessly advocating for an urgent end to the filibuster, leading the fight for Medicare expansion, holding Trump and all those involved in the January 6 Capitol attack fully accountable, removing cruel and unnecessary barriers to health care for immigrants through the Health Equity and Access under Law (HEAL) for Immigrant Families Act, and pushing Democrats to go bigger, bolder, and faster on infrastructure.
Where we're going from here: Like Pramila's push for a sweeping infrastructure bill that meets the overlapping crises our country faces, the theme of the summer is bigger, bolder, and faster. With Mitch McConnell proudly stating that 100% of his focus will be on blocking the Biden administration — Pramila is pushing her colleagues to move forward WITHOUT Republicans on the transformative reforms that voters demanded at the polls last year.
