The hate we have seen is shocking. From reports of a Jewish teenager being beaten in the streets of New York City, to Jewish people being harassed on the steps of their synagogues, to a family in Miami being menaced with threats of “F*** the Jews!” and “Die Jew!”
And these are just a few examples of the horrible attacks the Jewish community is facing. Over the past two weeks there has been a dramatic surge in the number of antisemitic incidents in the U.S reported to ADL, and alarming incidents are also spiking in Europe and around the world.
We cannot ignore these terrible attacks on Jewish people, both online and in our communities. We must respond swiftly and loudly to condemn these actions, support victims and ensure these violent bigots are identified and held accountable.
