Three days of programming will showcase more than 20 breakout sessions, four plenary sessions, and provide ample opportunities to connect with friends and colleagues. Each year, more than 250 youth-serving professionals with an interest in adolescent health outcomes attend this signature event, bringing with them a diverse range of expertise and experiences. This year’s event will be 100% virtual, utilizing the CVENT platform.

Advocacy is one of the core strategies we use to empower young people to make healthy choices for their bodies and their futures. Through advocacy, we can shape the way that teens can access the information and the healthcare they need, creating an enormous potential for change. Advocacy is a critical component of our work - but in organizations like ours it largely goes unfunded.

Each month, the Texas Campaign interviews young adults or the adults who serve them about their experience with sex education or teen pregnancy. 

This month, we interviewed Jose (JP) Rojas. JP is a UTRGV student who advocates for healthcare for all and sex education. In this interview, he shares his experience with sex education in Brownsville, Texas.

The COVID-19 pandemic has upended nearly every aspect of life for more than a year. This blog post explains how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the teen birth rates. 

The Texas Campaign seeks a videographer to capture three 2-minute testimonials. They will be documentary or interview style and relay the experiences of folks with lived experience, who work in the field, or who are otherwise invested in the work.
