I wanted to take a moment to tell you about a few of my Senate colleagues who are facing tough challenges from Republicans in the 2022 battle for control of the Senate majority.

Maggie Hassan, Senator from New Hampshire, won her seat in 2016 by just over one thousand votes, in what was one of the closest and most expensive Senate races in the state’s history.

In 2020, Captain Mark Kelly won the special election in Arizona, flipping another red seat blue.

And this year, Reverend Raphael Warnock ultimately prevailed in an extremely close race -- and along with Jon Ossoff, delivered change for Georgia and a new Democratic Senate majority.

Each of these Democratic champions have helped get the Senate back to work for the American people -- including casting decisive votes to pass the American Rescue Plan.

Now, Mitch McConnell’s GOP will stop at nothing to defeat them and take back the Senate.
