Our reservations proved true. The third audit is perpetuating the Big Lie and stirring up another baseless scandal.
Rather than just certify Arizona's trustworthy election data, Republican-hired auditors went rogue, reporting that Maricopa county's election file had been purposefully DELETED. Of course, the auditors actually made a technical error, and the file had never disappeared.
But the damage was done. Misinformation and distrust in the 2020 election has spread like wildfire, and even Trump released a statement reiterating the auditors' lie.
