I am 74 years old. I want to retire. After decades of working and stressing about my future, I want to be able to relax. But I can’t.

$39,000 of years-old student debt means I have to keep working.

It’s time to come together in the footsteps of Senator Warren’s leadership and urge President Biden to cancel student debt now.

SIGN ON: I support canceling $50,000 of student debt per borrower and completely relieving 36 million Americans of the burden of student loans.

Then, please chip in to help amplify the many stories shared by people like me who are trapped by student debt. Our stories put human faces on this issue and will show the White House the need to cancel student debt NOW.

If student debt were cancelled, I would be able to save a little money each month, and retirement might be in my future before too long.

I would be able to be more present with my loved ones and focus on the things that matter to them.

Canceling $50,000 of student debt per borrower has the power to change millions of lives, help close the racial wealth gap, and give a second chance to people who otherwise wouldn’t have one.

Let’s collectively raise our voices to say: The time is now.

The time is now to show the White House the faces and stories behind the student loan crisis.

The time is now to get one step closer to a country where everyone has equal access and opportunity to higher education.

The time is now to get one step closer to a country that has achieved racial justice.

The time is now.

SIGN ON: I support canceling $50,000 of student debt per borrower and completely relieving 36 million Americans of the burden of student loans.

Then, please chip in to help amplify stories like mine that put a human face on the student-debt crisis.

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
