Last night, the Laredo City Council voted to take stand against Donald Trump and his wall by diverting funds away from its construction. I’m proud of our local government for standing up for this community.

Unfortunately, my opponent Henry Cuellar has proven time and time again that he won’t fight for us in Washington. Instead, he’ll continue to sit back and let Republicans build their wall right here in our district.

We need to make sure we’re fighting for the best interests of our community and voting out career politicians like Henry Cuellar. This district deserves a fighter — and that’s why I’m running.
