The National Republican Congressional Committee gained a strong recruit - Christopher Rodriguez, a 36-year old veteran, businessman, and Oceanside city councilman filed to challenge Levin. According to Politico, NRCC leaders “say they are particularly excited about an uptick in interest from those who served in the military — a trend they think will serve them well in competitive districts.”
