John --

The Supreme Court has decided it will hear the case of a Louisiana law that requires all doctors who perform abortion procedures to have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles.

Should this law go into effect, it will leave only one doctor in the state of Louisiana to perform the procedure. It could also set a harmful and horrible precedent.

I believe in a woman's right to choose. I trust women -- and men -- to make their own health care decisions. I believe all Americans should have access to high-quality, affordable health care, including reproductive medical services.

Dan Sullivan?

He voted to defund Planned Parenthood and confirm Brett Kavanaugh -- the Justice whose vote could be the one that upholds the Louisiana anti-choice law and begins the roll back of Roe v. Wade.

Show Dan Sullivan, Mitch McConnell, and their extreme allies you're committed to protecting a woman's right to choose and to access reproductive care -- sign the petition.

As a doctor, I firmly believe that patients should be able to easily access medical services. There is no place for the federal government to create unreasonable barriers for patients seeking adequate reproductive health care.

If you come to me with a broken arm, I'd put it in a cast and tell you to be careful for the next four to six weeks.

But imagine now that I couldn't set your arm in a cast -- all because I need to meet an irrelevant law that has no bearing on my ability to wrap plaster around your arm. That's essentially the standard that would be set should this Louisiana law go into effect.

That's the medical standard that Dan Sullivan and Mitch McConnell have fought for -- neither of whom have any medical expertise whatsoever.

Add your name if you're committed to fighting for access to reproductive care and ending these attacks on abortion rights.
