Funders Continue COVID-19 Fight
The GrantWatch column in the May 2021 issue mentioned a broad sampling of foundations’ recent funding in COVID-19 areas including vaccination, data collection and analysis, mental health, legal services, and more. Also mentioned was a large grant for contact tracing in Africa.

In Key Personnel Changes, the Missouri Foundation for Health has a new president and CEO, who comes from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Today on Health Affairs Blog, Pablo Buitrón de la Vega and colleagues write about a leading voice for addressing health inequities among immigrants. In addition, Paige Nong and coauthors argue that structural racism is not an exemption from personal accountability.

In a new GrantWatch post, Rachel Block and Keanan Lane discuss the Peterson-Milbank Program for Sustainable Health Care Costs, which supports health care cost growth target initiatives in five states.
