Dear John,

BIG NEWS: after passing in the House of Representatives, today the NO BAN Act was officially reintroduced into the Senate. Although the bill faces major hurdles, we can overcome them by urging our Senators to pass the bill and send it to President Biden’s desk.

Since the beginning of the Muslim and African Bans, NIAC has worked tirelessly with partner organizations and impacted communities to overturn this discriminatory policy. And when President Biden hit the campaign trail, we made sure ending the bans would be the administration’s top priority from day one.

We've also worked closely with key Congressional leaders and community and civil rights groups to help craft the NO BAN Act—which if passed would prevent any future iteration of the ban from ever happening again. But we need to act now.

There is a narrow window to win this fight once and for all. Join us today and let's make sure that Congress helps prevent xenophobic bans from ever taking hold again. [[link removed]]
