Dear advocates and community members,
We are thrilled to announce our new class of Emgage Foundation C3 National Board of Directors! Following an intense selection process, we welcomed new members with established track records in various civic and professional fields that are essential to helping guide our nonprofit into the next chapter of its growth. These individuals, along with existing members, are committed to our mission of advancing policies of importance to Muslim voters and building power through education, organizing, and mobilizing.
As part of our commitment to good governance, we have established term limits for board membership to ensure that we keep attracting and welcoming new faces and ideas to our growing Emgage family. Every year, a portion of our board will transition out in a "staggered" fashion to ensure the retention of institutional knowledge.
We thank our transitioning members - AJ Durrani, Abdul Mughees, Nameer Haider, and Suhail Khan - for their exceptional contributions to the mission and we wish them the very best.
