Welcome to this week's e-News
Precious Life were "a voice for the unborn child" outside the High Court in Belfast on Wednesday and Thursday, during a court case by the so-called 'Human Rights' Commission. Their legal action was over what they claimed is a "delay" in killing more unborn babies across the whole of Northern Ireland. Since March last year over 1345 little babies have already been killed. But this isn't enough deaths for the Commission. Through this court case, they want to force the Stormont Assembly to facilitate the killing of even more babies. Our protest outside the Court over the course of the 2 days exposed the hypocrisy of the 'Human Rights' Commission.

Come along and help us set up our Pro-Life Information Stall; hand out leaflets, and collect signatures for our REPEAL SECTION 9 Campaign.

Failure of Human Rights Commission to protect Northern Ireland's unborn babies is lamentable and deeply troubling

Precious Life staged a 2-day protest outside Belfast High Court on Wednesday and Thursday in response to a case brought by the 'Human Rights' Commission to allow more abortions in Northern Ireland. Director of Precious Life Bernadette Smyth exposed the hypocrisy of a ‘human rights’ Commission that seeks to deny the human rights of babies in the womb. 3 year anniversary of Republic of Ireland voting to legalise abortion

Tuesday 25th May was the three year anniversary of when the Republic of Ireland voted to legalise the killing of unborn babies, Precious Life united with other pro-life groups across Ireland for a minutes silence at 12noon, We also lit a candle at 8pm to remember and honour all the babies lost to abortion in Ireland, and the women harmed by abortion.

SAVE THE DATE

The Rally for Life is the largest annual pro-life gathering in Ireland, and is highly-regarded as an exciting, colourful, life-affirming event. Centred around a major pro-life March on the first Saturday of July, the Rally has now grown into a whole Pro-Life Festival celebrating life.

In 2020, due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Rally for Life events were hosted online - but with 36 local rallies held around the country. Precious Life organised Life Chain events in the cities of Belfast, Derry and Newry, and in counties Antrim, Armagh, Derry, Down, and Tyrone.

Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, this year's 'physical' Rally looks unlikely to go ahead and will be hosted online. But Precious Life will also once again organise more Life Chain events across Northern Ireland (in accordance with whatever regulations are in place in July).
