I'm following up with you because I need to make sure your saw our coverage of David Chipman's nomination hearing yesterday. 

In case you missed it, you'll want to read today's recap here because he said some wild stuff that could affect millions of gun owners like you.

First, Chipman admitted under questioning that despite the fact he wants to ban so-called "assault weapons" he has no idea what they are. 

When pressed, Chipman said his only frame of reference was an ATF document that labeled any semi-automatic rifle that accepts a detachable magazine and is above the caliber .22 an "assault" rifle. 

STOP CHIPMAN!

But ultimately, Chipman said these "assault" weapons he personally wants to ban would be whatever Congress defines them as. 

In other words, this despot thinks an "assault" weapon is basically most rifles greater than .22 caliber ... OR whatever the hell Congress makes up.

That means gun owners like YOU could be in the crosshairs under Chipman's regime, and he's already proven he's OK with Gestapo tactics. 

This is the same person who defended Waco afterall, you know, where the government wantonly shot up Americans and burned children alive. 

David "Waco Whacko" Chipman is a clear and present danger to all law-abiding gun owners, and we need to stop his nomination.
