The RNC just launched an ad campaign attacking Ayanna’s colleague and sister-in-service, Representative Rashida Tlaib, and her work to transform our criminal (in)justice system.
There is nothing “radical” about shifting resources away from systems that perpetuate brutality and investing them in people and communities. There is nothing “radical” about reimagining a criminal legal system that is safer, less punitive, and more humane.
Rashida and Ayanna are fierce fighters for bold, progressive policy solutions like the People’s Justice Guarantee, Ayanna’s historic resolution to address and dismantle the systemic injustices within the legal system.
It’s clear: The GOP is attacking Rashida and our entire movement because they’re scared of our collective power and the progress we’re making towards justice and equity for all people. We need to show we have her back.
