John, I have some great news to share: U.S. Representative Jesús “Chuy” García will be making an appearance as a special guest at the National Immigrant Justice Center’s (NIJC) virtual Human Rights Awards on June 8th! Throughout his career, both as an organizer and as a legislator, Congressman García has fought to improve the lives of his working-class neighbors, many of whom are immigrants like him. He is a coalition builder committed to expanding access to quality education, affordable housing, and economic opportunity.
